Is A Baby Carrier Essential?

Is A Baby Carrier Essential?

Is a baby carrier essential for your postpartum?

baby wrap carrier, baby carrier, australian baby carrier, baby carrier australia

Essential is a strong word, it implies that you can’t survive without it, which in this instance is definitely not the case. You can survive without a baby carrier - BUT - life with a baby carrier is about 1 million times easier.

✨ you can get out and about with a newborn and not have to worry about them being unsettled
✨ you can stop worrying if your pram will fit wherever you are going
✨ you can keep your older children’s regular routines knowing your baby can nap on the go
✨ you can keep your baby settled, in their happy place with you, while you clean and tidy the house
✨ you can go for a walk without questioning if the path will have stairs or bumpy unmade tracks
✨ you can do kinder, daycare or school drop off easily (while keeping those often germy fingers at bay)
✨ you can be confident to go shopping, wander around at your leisure knowing that your little one is settled and happy in their favourite place

So while definitely not essential, we honestly believe it’s one of the best items to have to assist you and your little to easily transition through this period together.

Our favourite baby carriers for the newborn period are Baby Wrap Carriers. This is due to the fact that they resemble life in the womb and they are made to assist babies to easily transition through The Fourth Trimester. For more information on The Fourth Trimester - read our blog here.
